Forbidden Knowledge: Is the Statue of Liberty a Masonic Symbol of Lucifer?

The origins of all things created evolve, mutate, become obscured or lost and change with the changing times.  Do the ancient meanings of things hold any resemblance, relevance or effect on the modern meaning and understandings of a thing?

If we believe that a statue holds the symbols of Liberty but others say that they know that, that same statue is a symbol of Lucifer, do we have to change our belief systems after becoming informed by them?

Many people mistakenly believe that the French government gave the Statue of Liberty to the American government but it was individuals in the French Grand Oriental Temple of the Masons that built and presented the statue named, “Liberty Enlightening the World” as a gift to the Masons of America in celebration of the centenary of the first Masonic Republic in 1884.

Some symbols represent the grand archetypes of the human psyches.  The symbol of an illuminating light or torch has manifested itself throughout many cultures and societies of every era in recorded history.  The origins of the symbol of knowledge; or better yet lets say, the “Fruits of the Poisonous Tree”; is a legal term, from a legal doctrine and an offspring of the Exclusionary Rule.  Mandating that evidence from an illegal arrest, coercive interrogation, or unreasonable search must be excluded from the trails!

Prometheus was a Titan in Greek mythology who stole fire [symbolic of knowledge] from (Zeus) the God of all the Greek gods, and gave that knowledge to us mere mortals.  Is this symbolic of Lucifer?

The Greek god Hermes, an inventor of fire and the stringed musical instrument called the lyre, parallels the Titan, Prometheus in many ways.  The Roman gods mathimatical equivalent of Prometheus, via Hermes is Mercury.

Mercury’s caduceus chartus [a winged staff encircled by one or more commonly, two serpents] was original meant to symbolize commerce.  In capitalism these days, the pharmaceutical industries; profiting from the tragedies of Nixon’s War on Drugs and D.E.A., use the ancient symbol of commerce.  Which is a ridiculous oxymoron ironically because it is now misused to symbolize medicine (or more aptly) drugs.  Is that symbolic of Lucifer?

The Biblical mathimatical equivalent of “forbidden knowledge’s” takes place in Genesis 3.

The Fall

¹Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”

The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

Lucifer’s Angelic name, literally meant: “Bearer of Light” before the War in Heaven.  After the war, the fallen angel was given the name of Satan which literally means:  “Adversary”.  It is interesting that Jesus Christ’s name has been associated as the “Advocate”.  These direct correspondence with a Court rooms Prosecutors and Defense attorneys pleading before the Judge or God is a peculiar coincidence.

While his wife the famous Mary Shelley went on to pen the classic Frankenstein monster who is given life essentially by lightening!  The mortal man, Doctor Frankenstein achieved the powers of God, to give life to the dust and clay by breathing life into it or by illuminating the stiched together pieces of grave robbed corpses and an electrocuted abnormal brain giving some strange new soul a place in a mutated but physical life.

The controversies that inspirited the ideas for this article can be traced just as easily to all of the myths and stories above as they could to the Sovereign Grand Commander Mason Albert Pike who held that position from 1859 until his death in 1891.

Anti-Masons and Fundamentalist began to condemn all of Freemasonry based on the philosophies and writings of Albert Pike.  They do not mention that Pike’s writings were only for the Southern Jurisdiction of Scottish Rite Masonry, the limits of Pike’s Masonic authority.

No one likes a “know-it-all” so perhaps it is better off if some things do remain unknown?  However, under the weight of public accusations of practicing Satanic rituals the Mason’s are about to open their doors to the public, to observe and witness for the first time ever in history, the rituals and rites of a 31st degree Master Mason.

It is likely that the canidate will be blind folded, cloked and possible at six or more sword points (will have to die) a symbolic death to be born again into the Scottish Rites 31st degree, (which could perhaps prove to some perspectives to be Satanic).  We will all soon find out in the near future predicted later this year in following the link below.
