The Pope’s Resignation and the End of Time – What do we know? Really?

Over the last 24hrs news of the Pope’s resignation has sent shock waves through the alternative space.  His resignation seemingly opening the door for the prophecy of Petrus Romanus, Peter the Roman, the final Pope who will usher in the Apocalypse a time without time, and a end to all things to prepare for the beginning.

When Ratzinger was elected pope much speculation surrounded his chosen name of Benedict the XVI, largely due to the fact that St. Benedict of Nursia was the founder of the Benedictine order whose coast of arms holds a olive branch and has been affiliated to the Olivetan order of the Mount of Olives.  This is significant because in the Prophecy of the Popes by St. Malachi the final pope before Petrus Romanus is referred to as Gloria olivæ or in English “The Olive.” And now it appears that association may have indeed been correct.

Early proponents of this theory such as Thomas Horn in his book “Petrus Romanus: The Final Pope is Here” keyed in on this fact as well as numerous others, and his book is suggested reading to anyone who wants to learn more about the prophecy of St. Malachi and the reasons why this may indeed foreshadow the end of all things.  I would also point you to several recent interviews on Ground Zero with Clyde Lewis where he interviewed the authors in the days leading up to the resignation.

But several questions beyond the simply prophecy vexed me.  Why would he choose February 28^th, 2013 as his resignation date? Could his chosen name still mask other meanings beyond the reference to “The Olive” in the prophecy?  So to answer that question I again turned to the numbers, and the results were…interesting.

Initially I calculated the numbers based on his given name Benedict this resulted in a total of 62 (2+5+14+5+4+9+3+20) I then added 6+2 to equal 8.   In the occult the number 8 is representative of material manifestation

Next I approached XVI and got a total of 55 which results in a 10 (5+5) which is further extended to a 1 (1+0).  In the occult a number one represents beginning.  Finally I took the date 2-28-2013 or (2+2+8+2+0+1+3) which equaled 15 or 6 (5+1) and that is a reference to duty.

Finally I took the whole package Benedict XVI and totaled the numbers for a total of 117 ultimately concluding in the number 9 which has a reference to endings and completion.

But there was still more, and as I explored further I began to see a pattern.  If you do the same kind of math for the day itself (the 59^th day of the Gregorian Calendar ) you end up ultimately with a 5 which esoterically represents a traveler.  This seemed particularly fascinating to me in its ramifications.

So if you take the key words material manifestation, beginning, duty, traveler, and completion you find a very interesting narrative develop.

What we see develop is a is a man who placed into the highest position in the Vatican who in reality was a traveler, or temporary, Pope whose duty was the materially manifest the completion, or ending, and usher in the beginning or maybe even usher in the beginning of the  end depending how you look at it.

As I have pointed our previously I was very much a skeptic to this kind of analysis of words and ideas but as I also pointed out that in the final cut these things make sense somehow and if St. Malachi is to be believed this conclusion directly supports the outcome of the prophecy.  What will be interesting is to see who is elected, but one factor remains – many of hypothesized that the next pope would be a Jesuit and that would further hold significance in relation to the prophecy.  By the way Jorge Mario Bergoglio is being seriously looked at, and he is a Jesuit.  He’s being given slim odds on being elected by the conclave but that being said it should also be noted that at the last conclave no one rightly predicted that Ratzinger would be elected either.

Only time will tell, and it will be very interesting.
