Alaskan mother charged with neglect for forcing her children to hitch up the dogs so that they could go to school. She was 50 yards away and could not help her children if there was an emergency! The Alaska Department of Children’s services have investigated the matter and the parents are being Nominated for the Prestigious Award…”PURSUING EDUCATION FOR CHILDREN!”

Alaskan residents are somewhat perplexed to read about Lisa Marie Palmer from Tennessee who is facing charges of neglect because she forced her two children to walk the 3 miles to school, because once again they had missed the bus. Tennesse Department of Human Services are investigating the case and the couple are facing the prospect that their children may be taken from them! For What?

Lisa Marie Palmer did not have a valid drivers license but that is a seperate matter. So what should the Nanny State do for this family?
