So This is How Liberty Dies... with Thunderous Applause

     “It is an honor to be here at my last, and perhaps the last White House correspondents’ dinner. You all look great. The end of the Republic has never looked better.”  When I first heard this statement from Obama’s Correspondents Dinner this last statement just took the cake. Not only does he joke about killing people with drones but also keeps talking about running for a third term. These snide little statements to most seems like he is joking but when  you look at his body language you can see that he means every word.

     You know what I am talking about if you remember middle school. The school bully would tell you that you are exceptionally fat today and then follow it up with “Just kidding.” Everyone knows the bully was not kidding but because he followed it up with “jk” he can’t be told that he was being disrespectful to anyone. The same goes with Obama, because he follows up his statements with a big grin and laughter everyone thinks…. “Ha Ha he is so funny.      Queen Elizabeth also made a similar statement about “this being the last Christmas.” Here is her direct quote:“I hope you enjoy your final Christmas,” she said bitterly, before BBC staff, under strict orders from palace advisors, cancelled the take. I feel as if we are seeing the elite telling on themselves. What does that even mean, you might ask yourselves. Well maybe they know more than we do about the financial stability of the countries around the world. It is sometimes hard to tell, but rest assured we have not seen the last of rulers that like to be cryptic on their way out of power.
