MTV VMA's '17 Boundaries pushed to the ABSURD. MTV VMA's 17***Look What you Made Me Do!- A Fashion Review***

The more Hollywood pushes its boundaries, “Deconstruction” as many of them like to call their onward push to compel the public towards complete moral decay and debauchery, the more ostentatious and ridiculous the clothing gets at award shows.

The MTV VMA’s of 2017 did not fail to disappoint. We had a vulgar display of flesh, satanic imagery (the customary 666), outright Narcissism, and showy display of wealth. 

Each year produces a theatrical spectacle. Each year they push the stakes higher and higher. The more bling is shown, the more skin is shown, the more vulgarity, the funnier it gets. The more their egos are inflated, the more they have to fluff their feathers and to shock with ridiculous childlike costumes. All of which are a reflection of their insecurity and immaturtity.

Honestly, what they are passing off as real and intentional looks like a parody. This is how sad the state of the World is today. Glamour and class are long gone, replaced with a conglomeration of trash in all forms. Sad as it may be, many people in our society lap it up and quickly adopt these new trends and styles to conform and to have a sense of belonging.

Have a look at the onward push to moral decay, degeneracy, and stupidity. The more dependent people are, the easier they are to control. If you are so insecure as to wear superhero capes as a 50 year old, to flash all your wares and wear almost nothing for attention…. to wear immature gold coyboy boots as being one  of the most popular designers of our time. How much more insecure and immature will their audience be? As they scream look at meeeeee. Their audience, who puts them on a pedestal and idolizes them will do just the same. Just watch and see just how low they can go. Will next year be even worse? I almost guarantee it. In the words of Miley Cyrus, “We cant stop, and we wont stop, …Can’t you see it’s we who own the night. Can’t you see it we who bout’ that life” Well Miley didn’t stop this year, she horrifyingly groped a 90 year old’s breasts right there on stage for the whole world to see. How low can you really go? I shudder as I ask that question.
