NVIDIA researchers have published a new paper on easily customizing the style of realistic faces created by a generative adversarial network (GAN).
The Verge points out that GAN has only existed for about four years. In 2014, a landmark paper introduced the concept, and this is what the AI-generated results looked like at the time.

Anyway I do not see that an AI could not adopt conceptions that it find true at the time, it supposedly evolves meaning go forth, break through? Or is it stuck and start to abuse like the very elite that runs the world.
If we could colonize other planets the “elite” could be a good force, I see it that way (a force wrongly placed), but they are stuck, wishful thinking in Christmastimes; a scientific breakthrough.
