The Oroville Dam Update

The Oroville Dam Located at Canyon Dr & Oroville Dam Rd, Oroville, CA 95966. Oroville Dam is an earthfill embankment dam on the Feather River east of the city of Oroville, California, in the Sierra Nevada foothills east of the Sacramento Valley. At 770 feet (235 m) high, which is the tallest dam in the U.S. and serves mainly for water supply, hydroelectricity generation and flood control.  The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, commonly known as FERC, licenses hydroelectric facilities such as the Edward Hyatt Power Plant at Oroville Dam.

The Spillway capacity: 150,000 cu ft/s (4,200 m3/s) (service) and Capacity factor: 21% Inactive capacity: 29,600 acre⋅ft (0.0365 km3)

Ever since the Oroville Dam crisis that occured on Febuary 7, 2017 people have been really nervous about the condition of the dam and rightfully so. Everyone has jumped on board to try help alleviate the fears and concerns of those who live below the dam, but at this point complete removal of concerns just goes with the saying, trust must be earned.

Some channels have been reporting the current status of the dam while other channels were instructing their followers to flag any channel stating the real issues concerning the dam. One very well known channel, was instructed to have their followers flag any channel stating any issues and/or concerns of the true reality of the dam. And like good little sheeples, their little minions go out about their orders instead of researching the information for themselves and went looking to flag anyone who states the truth. Yep….. Everyone has a price.

I have seen many channels, many honest people only trying to do the right thing with a true genuine concern for the people living below and still continue to be hammered for stating the truth.
