Pizza Hut Meaty Marinara Recipe

16 ounces rotini pasta

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1lb ground beef

1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste

1 24 ounce can crushed tomatoes

6 garlic cloves (minced)

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons sugar

2 teaspoons dried oregano

2 teaspoons onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 /2 cup fresh basil (chopped)

Salt and pepper (to taste) 

Heat olive oil in a large stockpot. Add garlic and sauté for 2 minutes. Add the ground beef and cook until browned while breaking up into chunks with a spatula, about 5 minutes. Stir in the tomato paste, tomato puree, sugar, oregano, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper, and basil. Mix well. Simmer for about an hour, stirring occasionally.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Cook the rotini pasta according to package directions. Drain and mix with the prepared marinara sauce. Place the mixture into a lightly greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Top with mozzarella cheese. 

Place into the oven and bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese has melted and beginning to brown.
