The FBI says 49-year-old Glendon Scott Crawford of Galway and 54-year-old Eric Feight of Hudson have been arrested and charged with conspiracy to provide material support to terrorists by use of a weapon of mass destruction, authorities received information that Crawford had approached local Jewish organizations seeking out individuals who might offer assistance in helping him with a type of technology that could be used against people he perceived as enemies of Israel.
The 67-page complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Albany states that their scheme was to create a mobile, remotely operated, radiation emitting device in trucks “capable of killing targeted individuals silently with lethal doses of X-ray radiation.”
This is something right out of a 1950′s sci-fi flick or a bugs bunny cartoon. I know this is probably bad to say but how cool is this!? Makes you wonder tho right? How many others out there are thinking of this kind of technology? If two old dudes can then imagine what scientists could do? Not a very pleasent thought. This world has enough weapons to kill us and destroy everything living thing on this planet dozens of times over. Plague, chemicals, nuclear weapons, lasers, etc. What good does it do?
I wonder if during court proceedings if they will show how these men tried to make it and how far they were to getting it done. Now I feel like going to watch some corny old black and white sci-fi Good night everyone. -Mort
obviously the government is prosecuting these men because they “the government” believe that the idea is not only plausible but a workable idea!!! Almost as if they “the government” already have a working version!?!?!
ee
interesting. luckily they were caught; i wonder how they got busted?
