Teen Mom Helped Bury Daughter After Boyfriend Stomped and Beat Her to Death

A teen mother and her 20-year-old boyfriend, Joshua Markus Beard, went to Wal-Mart to purchase gloves and a shovel to bury their 19-month-old daughter, Tylea, after Joshua stomped her to death. Both of them have been arrested. Joshua is charged with murder while the child’s mother, Alexis Botello, is charged for tampering with physical evidence and injury to a child.

Joshua’s aunt reported the child missing to police on Sunday after she went to a hotel located in the 1900 block of West Pleasant Ridge Road in Arlington to check on Alexis. Joshua had been arrested on Saturday on unrelated charges and was unable to reach his 17-year-old girlfriend so his aunt wanted to make sure she was okay.
