New Yorkers Shocked Over Rape of Child in Her Bedroom by MS-13 Burglar

At the same time that New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo called agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) “thugs” and other derogatory names, the city’s populace was shocked to learn that a member of the crime organization Mala Salvatrucha (MS-13) perpetrated a series of crimes in just one household.

Despite warnings from New York’s Mayor de Blasio, ICE agents have captured numerous criminal aliens and had them deported.

A young man suspected of being a MS-13 gang member was captured by detectives from the New York Police Department (NYPD) on Saturday, just a few days after he broke into and entered the Brooklyn bedroom of a sleeping 11-year-old child and “savagely raped her,” according to police reports.

The suspect, Julio C. Ayala, was arrested on Saturday and charged, New York City police said. Officers told the Fox News Channel that Ayala is likely an MS-13 gang member and is an illegal immigrant from El Salvador, where MS-13 originated.

Detectives from the NYPD’s Special Victims Division had been hunting for the 18-year-old Ayala since Wednesday, August 29, after he allegedly crawled into the child’s bedroom in Brooklyn through the second-floor window at approximately  11:30 p.m. and raped her.

The attacker fled the scene through the window as the girl “cried for her parents’ help.” The parents said they immediately called 911. The identities of the victim and her family have remained secret.

Police detectives looked through videos from nearby Closed-Circuit TV surveillance cameras and spotted Ayala walking down the street as he was putting a sweatshirt on over his tank top.

When police captured Ayala, he had been hiding in an under-construction three-story building.  Officers from the New York Police Department’s Emergency Service Unit (ESU), whose duties include special weapons and tactics (SWAT).

Neighbors cheered as the accused rapist was being taken into law enforcement custody.

Police sources told the New York Post that Ayala’s only form of identification was a Permanent Resident Card, also known as a green card.  Ayala was arraigned in a Kings County (Brooklyn) criminal court on Sunday. Ayala is charged with Rape, First-Degree Burglary, First-Degree Criminal Sex Act, Sexual Abuse, and Acting in a Manner Injurious to a Child.

During the same week, a 25-year-old El Salvadoran fugitive, a known member of the notorious MS-13, was extradited from the U.S. by ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) agents. He is wanted in his home country for an organized crime criminal conspiracy.

Melvin Isaac Martinez-Guevara was escorted out of the U.S. and was flown then turned over to El Salvadoran law enforcement authorities. Their police officers told reporters that Martinez-Guevera is wanted for the offense of criminal conspiracy.

The Mara Salvatrucha member unlawfully entered the United States on an unknown date and location without being inspected, admitted, or given permission by  a the Border Patrol or ICE.

On June 10, 2017, the Brick Township Police Department in Brick, New Jersey arrested him on criminal charges and referred Martinez-Guevera  to ICE ERO after record checks revealed he was wanted in his home country of El Salvador for criminal conspiracy.

Agents immediately arrested him and placed him in ICE custody pending removal proceedings. On June 27, 2018, the Immigration Court judge ordered him to be removed from the United States to handed over to the police in El Salvador.

“This individual, a known member of the murderous Mara Salvatrucha gang, entered the country illegally, already being wanted in his home country for criminal conspiracy,” said John Tsoukaris, field office director of ERO Newark. “The brave men and women of ICE have once again removed a dangerous criminal from the community.”

“It’s hard to understand the reasoning behind the hatred the Democrats have for ICE and its officers who put their lives on the line everyday. It is also disturbing to hear politicians calling for the abolishment of ICE while they fret over the treatment of lawbreakers,” said former police detective and political strategist Larry Henrickson.
