New Farm Project Just Completed!

Recently completed and fresh on the market, This house renovation at New Farm turned out

magnificent! It was a big undertaking for our clients, with strict development guidelines to follow

to retain the original homes character, it was a case of replace or restore. Now you know what’s

been taking up all our time lately, here’s a peek into T&L’s Stunning renovation.

Planting more established trees does cost more, but does wonders for a home that is going

on the market shortly after completion. We got all plants from wholesale nurseries.

The rear extension to the home has a more modern edge, yet blends seamlessly with

the existing home. The outdoor living area features integrated BBQ, surround sound, drop

down projector plus plunge pool……….I’m starting to sound like a Real Estate agent!!!!!!!

All furniture is from a furniture hire company, which worked out very economical, rather than

buying the furniture and furnishings for the property display.

Love the mirror splashback they selected. The polished concrete has a warm feel, contrary

to what some people might think. White polished concrete comes up beautifully too.

The house has all the gadgets, including C-bus controlled privacy and sunblocking screens.

The ensuite is amazing, but those polished tiles were a real pain to clean. They had some

sort of waxy coating over them, to protect them in transit…….. (and from being cleaned!).

My favourite part of the house is the outdoor living area, it has great ambience and I just love

the exterior wallpaper behind the BBQ. Located in the best part of the city, New Farm

(in my opinion), just a block away from my favourite shop Sass+Bide!
