Trending Now: Color in the Kitchen

Time to check out some more trends of 2013.  Some of the hottest trends right now are getting cooked up in our kitchens, where color is a big deal.  In some cases, it’s the absence of color, with gray cabinetry and walls moving to the forefront of kitchen design.  In other cases, kitchens are taking on a rainbow of hues with bright pops of color.  Colorful cabinetry is becoming more and more common, but most of us are starting small and painting our islands.  And one of the most amazing color trends I discovered?  Painted refrigerators.  We don’t want to be limited by manufacture’s boring color choices of black, white, and stainless steel, so creative DIYers are pulling out the paint and getting their appliances in shades of their choice.
