This article tells us about the causes of pimples on the face and what remedies, prepared from natural products, we can use to combat them.

Pimples

They leave at puberty and, sometimes, become encystic and infected, creating a problem of importance for both skin health and self-esteem.

Some people, once past this vital stage, see the disappearance of any remaining of these annoying dots. Others, however, have them on a recurring basis, again and again, sometimes creating aesthetic problems. But why?

Causes of pimples on the face

Although investigations, well into the 21st century, still do not agree with the causes of pimples on the face, they have been able to understand factors which can influence skin breakouts.

Hormonal factors, both at puberty and in adulthood in men and women.

Although the consumption of chocolate has been discarded as an urban myth that does not influence the appearance of pimples, they are related to a high-fat, unbalanced diet, with lots of fried foods and few vegetables or fruits.

Another cause of pimples on the face are infections due to poor hygiene. That does not mean all people who have pimples do not wash properly, but simply that they do not do it with the corect product and the proper form.

Almost all researchers agree that stress, anxiety and depressive symptoms affect the appearance or worsen the outbreaks of acne and other skin diseases.

Insomnia could also be another cause of pimples on the face.

Now that we know something more about the causes of pimples on the face, we will learn what care we should provide to our face to prevent the appearance of outbreaks.

Basic hygiene and care for pimples on the face

Depending on the intensity, etiology and type of acne, you will need a treatment or another solution which can be medical, cosmetic or a combination of both.

If acne is cystic, you should consult a dermatologist who will prescribe appropriate medications. You can also go to a trusted beauty center where they will inform you of all the treatments at your disposal. These treatments give very good results.

Whatever option you have selected, you have to keep in mind that you must maintain a scrupulous hygiene program with the appropriate products so the pores are not infected. Write down the following:

  • Start with the head. Not only should you wash your skin, back or chest daily with a specific product, but also your hair. Keep oil away with a shampoo, for example one containing nettle oil, or just a shampoo specific for oily hair.

  • Always have clean skin and use natural soaps that do not irritate the skin. Those of Aleppo are good, for example, or those with lemon, rosemary, mint, chamomile, hypericum essential oil are examples of excellent cleaning soaps.

  • After this operation, you can gently rub with a lemon tonic or prepare a bitter chamomile tonic. You just have to make a warm tea and wash the affected area.

  • Do not touch, pinch, or scratch. And definitely never with dirty nails or hands!

  • Prepare a green clay mask and use it at least once a week. Thus you will dry the skin, calm it and perform a bactericidal cure.

Do not stress or look constantly.

Study your diet and try to discard fatty products like sausages, pastries, whole milk, sugars and junk food. Drink and eat more fruits and vegetables, drink more water, reduce carbonated soft drinks and have develop a structured diet with more natural foods.

You have to keep the skin hydrated, despite the oil, with a specific gentle product that is not abrasive. In the market there are countless cosmetic firms who offer specific creams made with natual ingredients like seaweed, tea, bitter orange and other essential oils which work great. It is best to try mask for face homemade to treat your skin breakouts.

Cucumber face mask

  • Blend one small cucumber and one cup of oatmeal to create a paste.
  • Mix one teaspoon of the paste with one teaspoon of yogurt, then apply to your face.
  • Leave it on for 30 minutes, then rinse.

Oatmeal facial

  • Mix together: two teaspoons oatmeal, one teaspoon baking soda and enough water to form a paste.
  • Smooth the paste over your face, gently rubbing it in, then rinse thoroughly. Oatmeal is naturally soothing, and this rinse helps clear pimples.

Aloe Vera and tomato juice face mask

  • To make it, mix two tablespoons of tomato juice and one tablespoon of Aloe Vera gel.
  • After washing your face with an oil-free cleanser, apply the aloe-tomato juice mask to your face, let dry for 15 minutes, then remove it by rinsing with lukewarm water.
  • Finally, splash your skin with cool water to close and tighten your pores.

Avoid constipation

If we don’t go to the bathroom every day, our blood becomes more “dirty”, the liver becomes saturated and skin problems get worse. That’s why liver plants always improve skin problems. You might consider taking an infusion of Nettle, Burdock and Peppermint a couple of times a day.

Did you know…?

If you have a tendency to pimples, they may come out in the days before menstruation. It is not known if this is due to the associated anxiety, the hormonal change or a combination of both circumstances. By taking control the cycle, you should be able to maintain good nutrition and more scrupulous hygiene during that monthly time.
