Louisiana Sinkhole Goes Wild During Alaska Quake (Photo)

The Louisiana sinkhole seismic recorders show that during the period of the Alaska quake on Friday, the swamp monster went a bit wild at the helicorder stations LA 12 and LA 14.

“Mad activity” began at LA 12 began around noon CST at LA 12, reported by Louisiana Sinkhole Bugle under the title, “Seismic Activity! Head for the Hills!”

Around the same time today, Alaska’s Aleutian Islanders heard a loud sound like a jet rumble as their homes shook from a powerful 7.0 magnitude quake south of them in the Pacific Ocean.

The islanders went running for cover, according to the press.

As a preventive measure, dozens of Louisiana sinkhole area residents in Bayou Corne have also run for cover. They have become energy refugees, struggling to establish new lives after the fossil fuel industry has ruined their homes and livelihoods.

Meanwhile their state governor, highly criticized for continuing to issue permits for more drilling in the crippling salt dome where the 24-acre sinkhole is, travels the nation to drum support as a potential presidential candidate.

Gov. Jindal as president would be ideal for the fossil fuel industry that long ago bought him with campaign dollars. (See Vampire of Macondo.)
