An article by Lyn Leahz cites David Wilkerson’s vision that The United States is going to experience, in the not-too-distant future, the most tragic earthquake in its history.

But the earthquake was too distant for Wilkerson to see. His vision was more than 40 years ago and Wilkerson is dead and gone. Yes, we expect the possibility of a man-made earthquake with HARRP technology (search YouTube if you haven’t seen it) as a pretext for martial law and control of the masses, but anything really huge should have biblical timing, in spite of those pushing the button being oblivious to Scripture.

What is meant by “biblical timing”? God said He would “execute judgment” in the context of Passover in Egypt. Calamity befell them and there was a “midnight cry” like Christ foretold in His wedding parable that woke the 10 women up for the wedding. In Egypt, God took Israel to a wedding—they made a covenant and He later said, “I am married to you,” Jeremiah 3:14.

Paul says that history will repeat. He included the Exodus when he said, “All those things happened to them for examples….written for [us] upon whom the ends of the world are come,” 1Corinthians 10:1,11

Paul also said the end-time “day of the Lord” would come with “sudden destruction” when they are saying ‘Peace and safety.’ 1Thessalonians 5:2,3. That might imply Israel being forced to sign a peace treaty with Palestinians.

We should consider input from Ellen White, esteemed a prophetess by Seventh-day Adventists. Having taught Health Science at Loma Linda University founded by her, I appreciate National Geographic’s cover story of November, 2005 on Longevity which cited Loma Linda as the only “blue zone” in the western hemisphere for longevity. A picture showed Marge Jetton, 100 years old, putting gas in her car.

The Adventist Health Study was funded by NIH to discover that Adventists live about 7 years longer than control groups and it’s not a result of fad diets. Dr. Clive McCay, Professor of Nutrition at Cornell University, summarized a 7-page review of Ellen White’s writings on health–“In spite of the fact that the works of Mrs White were written long before the advent of modern scientific nutrition, no better over-all guide is available today.”

The above information is cited to consider her credibility on future events. While visiting NYC, she was shown tall “buildings rising story after story…warranted to be fireproof…consumed as if made of pitch.” Vol 9 pg 11-13, of Testimonies for the Church, published in 1909. I would say she is credible.

But in the same book, she visited the medical school she founded and saw a vision of an earthquake in which “many lives were blotted out…It seemed that Judgment day had come.” ibid, pg 93. Casual readers think she was reporting the San Francisco Earthquake that occurred then, but on pg 95, she cited Zephaniah 1:8 where God says, “In the day of the Lord’s sacrifice [Passover] I will punish…the king’s children clothed in strange apparel.” This reminds us of the wedding parable in Matthew 22:11.

But Christ words, You don’t know the day or hour” remind us of an important clue that is explained at http://TheBridegroomComes.com because, “as the days of Noah,” Christ’s clues point to a provision in the law for Passover a month later in Numbers 9:10,11. This is also true for a long journey when Israelites could not get back to Jerusalem for Passover in the first spring month, they were to keep it in the 2^nd month.

Christ punctuated His last two parables by saying Watch, you don’t understand, It’s like a man traveling to a far country. Matthew 25:14 suggests this provision because Christ would be taking a far journey to heaven and His invisible return in judgment [like Passover in Exodus 12:12] would conform to the law that is in effect till heaven and earth pass, Matthew 5:18.

Long story made short—NO, the big earthquake cannot have “at any moment.” It will fit Bible prophecy for appointed times of which most Christians are following the papacy in abolishing those “Jewish festivals,” but biblical evidence shows that Paul observed them (Acts 20:6;16; 1Corinthians 5:8) and he said “Follow me as I follow Christ,” 1Corinthians 11:1.

We would do better to understand God’s calendar of appointed times that the papacy boasts they abolished as “Jewish festivals.” Christians need not sacrifice animals as in Old Testament times, but an awareness of those times would help us to be watching [awake and praying?] at 2^nd Passover this coming spring when we might expect “the Big One”
