Searching For a More Harmonious World

With the crisis in Ukraine a tinder box one cannot help wonder why the Ukraine’s President won’t seek a resolution with Russia before the rest of the world triggers what could very well be another world war. To ensure global peace humanity must realize we are all brothers of man. And, in understanding that is essential for the survival of the human race. 

If we are taught prejudices they will ultimately surface to a point where behavior patterns are antagonistic to different races, religions, cultures and ideologies. If on the other hand if we are taught tolerance, compassion, and understanding that we are all different, yet we are all the same having these attributes many of the unsettledness of our world will cease. 

Other factors to consider that contribute to global insecurities. reprisals, and animosity all around the world is the growing instability of nations caused by the lack of fundamental elements that creates balance in societies. Fundamental elements for human enrichment as we might say are required for humanity to amicably coexist. And without them major disruptions and even violent behavior result as what we are seeing around the world today.

Every human being requires adequate fresh clean water, adequate housing, nutritious fresh food, proper sanitation, adequate clothing and proper medical care. These are just the basic needs we all need. And when societies have even a small percentage without any of these basic necessities that is where much of the world’s crisis evolve from.

Today too many nations are now controlled by a power elite. The United States political process has morphed into a maze where the flow of wealth creates the hot bed of corruption that has seeped into the halls of government. In Russia and other countries where people have been in positions of power over their societies over time become abusive of that power. The abuse of power has led to many of the current crisis the world is facing today. 

The rise of ultra-conservatism on our political landscape has given tyranny a foot hold over our democracy, and with that the United States has lost its leadership in global affairs. Now the question is this what has to be done to resolve the ongoing crisis in Ukraine and restore the lack of basic fundamental necessities for human enrichment to not only here in the US but in so many other countries. Countries that are contributing to the rise of instability. 

So far, all that is being addressed is sound bites, the blame game, and a revolving door cycle of unsustainable false fixes that have only made each crisis worse than before. If countries continue by not intervening to felicitate first a resolution in the Ukraine crisis and not use every means possible to relieve the major blockage of basic necessities of human enrichment reaching societies, the world will soon be engulfed in flames of destruction.

The industrialized nations of the world have the resources, the technology and believe it or not the capability to end the human suffering that is currently creating the many problems mankind is facing. Do we keep on fiddling, or do we actually put differences aside and finally do what is right and good for mankind or do we like Nero fiddle away while the world goes up on flames?
