National Distress

In all probability with this latest shipment of military hardware to Ukraine the United States has become the catalyst that could spark what be the final conflict between the West and the East. The United States has for over 70 years perceived Russia as the “Bad Guy” of international affairs. We have assumed they have been the instigators of armed conflicts whether it was Afghanistan and now in Ukraine.

We have to remember that the US has also been and still is an instigator of armed conflicts all around the world. The list of countries we purposely sent our military to is endless. Not to mention the trillions of taxpayer dollars wasted supporting so many other international crises. Meanwhile on Main Street USA wave after wave of unabated violence whether committed by lone gunmen, our local police, or infighting between gangs continues to rip our nation apart.

When we waste trillions of dollars on foreign entanglements that have no benefits for the average American leaves our whole society and our nation in grave danger of more internal crisis. Is it any wonder then that we have so much inequality, social and economic injustice, and a nation that is hemorrhaging from the fiscal irresponsibility of our own government? 

No, it is not any wonder at all. We have for years failed to get our own house in order. The consequences we are seeing today. And with the Bidens Administration lame attempt to ease some of the burdens millions of Americans face and congress ineptness to deal with the ongoing violence around our nation with a financial calamity waiting in the wings is a recipe for disaster.

What we should do is never in the equation as far as Congress is concerned. And no matter what the Biden Administration does in their continuation of supporting Ukraine will have an almost irreversible effect on the future of our world. The dangers of our current policies have multiplied and if we continue with our current actions to date the world we know will be forever changed.
