It will eventually, and when it does it will be bad. Government is just lucky that people haven’t noticed the 40% loss in the dollar’s purchasing power over the last 4 or 5 years. Most might notice that the dollar doesn’t buy as much at the grocery anymore, but don’t make the connection and don’t worry because the stock market is going up.
