MaxCoin- the new digital currency
A few days ago was launched MaxCoin. This is a new alternative digital currency. The coin was presented financial journalist Max Keiser. Fork will aim to establish itself as a viable alternative to Bitcoin and Litecoin.
Technical features of the new coins are as follows:
Scrypt or SHA-256 is Keccak (SHA-3)
Total 250,000,000 coins
Block reward is 96 MaxCoin per block, halving every ~12 months
Difficulty retargeting using Kimoto Gravity Well algorithm
Block time is 30 seconds
The new currency is already traded on the stock exchanges. There are worker pools; there is a CPU and GPU – miners.
