HSBC considers the benefits of Bitcoin

HSBC, one of largest financial conglomerate, is considering the benefits of Bitcoin. The leading international bank took to recruitment website GapJumpers to gauge the skills of potential marketing interns.
In a post that is understood to have been created by Suresh Balaji, the bank’s global head of marketing strategy, HSBC prompted candidates to express their views on the benefits (or otherwise) of Bitcoin being part of HSBC’s suite of consumer products.
GapJumpers allows experts to connect with young job seekers through hypothetical interview questions and recommend those with the best answers.

While the GapJumpers’ post should not be interpreted a sign that HSBC is planning an imminent major bitcoin push, it does give us a hint that large financial institutions are at least thinking about the potential impact of cryptocurrencies on their business.
