China Reports ALL TIME HIGH Record Trade SURPLUS While US Reports Trade DEFICITS!

If the US and China were to be in a trade war, the winner would definitely be China. But the US surrendered that war years ago by shipping its manufacturing overseas. And now the chickens have come home to roost.

China reported a record trade surplus in January, their best ever. A surplus is like a profit and a deficit is like a loss. 

China’s trade surplus rose 88 percent to reach 367 billion yuan in January, official data said on Sunday.

Last week America had it biggest monthly jump in history in its trade deficit last month, jumping 17.1%.  That would be a loss for the US.

“It had the biggest monthly increase ever. The Chinese yuan gained a lot of value last year against all these other currencies. Because of the strength of the yuan, the Chinese are able to buy more more foreign products for fewer yuan. The fact that their trade surplus soared to a new high shows you how good the Chinese economy is doing,” explains economist Peter Schiff.  

“Because the dollar has strengthened, the American trade deficit should be going down. The fact that it’s going up , despite the benefit of being able to buy our imports with less money, just shows you how weak the US economy actually is. 

Despite the fact that we have a strong dollar, our trade deficit is skyrocketing anyway –because that’s how weak the US economy is! We have to import stuff, because our economoy is incapable of producing it ourselves. 

In China , there is actually is economic productivity , so their surplus is going up.”
