I think your forgetting that China is deeper in Debt than we are. We also have a lot more gold than they do. If Chine and Russia are going to collapse the dollar then you can bet we are in the middle of it. One, we have so much debt now that it can never be paid back. Two, the banks are awash with debt and derivatives that can never be repaid. Most of the debt is owned by the Federal reserve and the Federal reserve is private for profit corporation and that debt is their debt and not ours.
We need to reset the whole system and start again. We have far more gold and precious minerals than anyone else so we would be in better shape with an asset backed currency.
