Everyone’s personal economy is different. My parents have 0 debt, both cars and house paid off. They’re working, doing great, saving most of their money and working on the garden. My friends parents are in a very bad situation but that’s because they got new cars with 84 month loans. They order take out from restaurants almost daily..shopping online at target, Nordstrom etc..barely surviving because of bad spending habits. 0 savings, payday loans are perpetual etc. I myself do not believe in debt anymore. I have 5 credit cards paid and cut up. I leave them open to “have credit” because I haven’t bought a house yet. I drive a paid off Toyota Prius so good on gas. Only thing is my rent in downtown Denver is 1650 for a 1br but it’s a kick ass apartment in a prime location. I’m on a strict budget, cook EVERY meal, make my own coffee, and do not shop online or buy unnecessary things. I work as a Trucker hauling beer and Tequilas. People please get back to basics and you’ll be fine!
