Branstad releases latest ads, “An app for that”

(URBANDALE) – The Branstad 2010 campaign today released two new, 15-second television ads entitled, “An app for that,” which kicks off a week of application rollouts for mobile phones.

“These ads highlight Terry Branstad’s successful job creation efforts, versus Governor Culver’s higher unemployment at the hands of his $1.7 billion so-called I-JOBS plan,” said Branstad 2010 campaign manager Jeff Boeyink.

The first Branstad/Reynolds app is already available on the Droid platform and is found here:http://www.appbrain.com/app/com.rwm.bran.activity. Applications for BlackBerry, iPad and iPhone will be released throughout this week.

Under Terry Branstad, unemployment was the lowest in state history, and nearly 300,000 new jobs were created.

Under Chet Culver, unemployment’s nearly doubled and almost 114,000 Iowans are out of work.
