ICYMI: During Interview, Chris Matthews Slams Crist For False Personal Attacks
Miami, FL – Charlie Crist has promised to go to Washington to end the partisan bickering but today he was roundly criticized for engaging in a type of politics people have grown to hate. Tonight, during an interview on MSNBC’s “Hardball,” Crist repeated his false personal attacks against Marco Rubio only to have Chris Matthews criticize him for engaging in a “kind of politics” that has “got nothing to do with what kind of a voting record you or he are going to have in Washington.” Despite being a Crist fan, Matthews says, “I hate it.” Check out the video and transcript below:

Charlie Crist: “Now, when a transaction like that takes place, people have a right to know, evaluate it themselves. It’s not personal. This is a public record. These things are on the record and reported by newspapers in the state of Florida. I think before the people go to the polls and register their vote, they need to know what all the facts are. And they’re smart enough to figure out what they want to believe about them, what they think the truth is and then make their conclusion.”
MSNBC’s Chris Matthews: “Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, I got to tell you, governor, I’m big fan of yours politically but this is the kind of politics that it gets to in the last week or two, I hate it.
