Crist Meltdown A Sign Of What’s To Come Over Final 9 Days

Tampa, FL – Following today’s CNN/St. Petersburg Times U.S. Senate debate, Rubio for Senate spokesman Alex Burgos released the following statement:

“After five general election debates, 80 ideas to reclaim America, 19 months of campaigning and hundreds of opportunities to engage Floridians, this debate was just one more example of how Marco Rubio is the only candidate who will seriously challenge the direction Washington is taking our country and provide a clear alternative.

“Fitting for a former quarterback, Charlie Crist tossed around false and misleading attacks, but he also showed how desperate he’s become with the constant name-calling and heckling.  While Marco Rubio was focused on real issues, Charlie Crist showed that he is more obsessed with attacking his opponents than addressing the problems that our state and country will face in the coming months.

“As we enter the final week of the campaign, Marco Rubio will continue doing what he’s done throughout this campaign: talking about the issues that concern Floridians and ideas to tackle our challenges.  He invites his opponents to join him.”
