Daniel Robinson

Daniel is a graduate of Cullman High School, class of 2012, with an advanced diploma and will be attending Auburn University in the fall of 2012 on a Spirit of Auburn Founders Scholarship – full tuition based solely on academics.

In high school, along with being the President of CATR, Daniel was a captain on Cullman High School’s Varsity soccer team. They made it to the final four in 5A competition in the state playoffs.

At Auburn University, he will be in Auburn’s Young Republicans group, which is one of the largest college republican groups in the nation.

He joined the Cullman Area Teenage Republicans a little over two years ago when he was in tenth grade.

He served one year as the Treasurer and in 2012, he became the President.

Under his presidency, CATR membership grew from 80 to 192 teenagers in ten different school settings (seven county schools, one city school, one private school, and home-school members).

They attended the winter and summer statewide Republican dinners in Birmingham and Montgomery, respectively.

They accumulated 2,303 hours of community service and campaign hours.

Included in those hours, they volunteered their time to local charities and the local Chamber of Commerce.

They have participated in 3 different parades, and registered voters at all three.

They fundraised over six thousand dollars for the fiscal year that was used to send all four officers to Washington, DC for the National Teenage Republican Conference, all-expenses paid.

As president, he helped charter Teenage Republican (TAR) clubs across Alabama.

He helped charter county clubs in Morgan, Mobile, Baldwin and Shelby counties, with another one up and coming in Mobile County.

He is also one of the founders of the Alabama Teenage Republican Federation, which was founded for all TAR clubs across the state to network and come together as one.
