Kansas Election Results

After all the votes in Kansas were counted, incumbent Senator Pat Roberts defeated conservative Dr. Milton Wolf (R-KS) in the Republican primary election for U.S. Senate by 7 points.

Pat Roberts received 48% of the vote, Milton Wolf received 41%, and two other candidates got the remaining 11%.

The race ended up being much closer than many of the experts in Washington predicted.

Our poll last week showed Roberts under 50% and leading by only 9 points, which the DC crowd dismissed. We said Wolf was trending and we were right. The race just didn’t close fast enough for Wolf to win.

Milton Wolf exceeded all expectations despite being massively outspent, and over half of the Republicans voted against Pat Roberts. That’s not good news for the Republican establishment.

We want to thank each of you for supporting Dr. Wolf’s campaign and for giving voters in Kansas a conservative choice.

Dr. Wolf stood up and challenged the status quo in Washington and he fought tirelessly for our conservative principles.

He also inspired many in Kansas and across the country to demand more from their elected leaders in Washington.
