The United Nations – Enemy of Individual Freedom

Collectivism’s only hope for worldwide success rests in the formation of an international organization whose influence and powers supersede national borders and eliminate the concept of national and individual sovereignty. The founding of the United Nations after World War II provided collectivists with the perfect mechanism by which to achieve those goals.

The right to own private property that cannot be arbitrarily confiscated by the government is the source of our Freedom. Our founders, especially Thomas Jefferson, understood that a person’s property consisted not only of his land, home and possessions, but also the work of his hands, the inventions of his brain, and ultimately his life itself. Protection for these property rights is enshrined in our Constitution and finds its primary source in the Ten Commandments . . . prohibitions against envy, theft, bearing false witness, and murder deal directly with protection of our Natural Law rights.  

From the dawn of human civilization, groups of men have sought to rule over others. At the very beginning, leaders took control by force or were chosen because of their physical abilities. As civilization matured, attributes such as intelligence and character became more important factors.

Nevertheless, the result is always the same. Those who seek power always promise freedom and justice for all, but, eventually, man’s selfishness and his self-serving lust for power and control leads to slavery and tyranny for the masses.

The primary enemy of the individualism and personal freedom created by our constitutional republic is the collectivist philosophy espoused by Hegel and Marx in the middle of the 19^th century. There have been many protagonists in the collectivists’ quest to subjugate humanity over the past 170 years since Marx wrote the Communist Manifesto. Numerous attempts at governance using Marxist principles have uniformly caused societal collapse, totalitarian rule, and eventual economic failure. Socialism, as an economic system, has never been successful on a national level except in very small subsistence level communities. Nevertheless, collectivists continually attempt to force their philosophy, lifestyle, and big government tyranny on the world.

Quietly, ever since 1945, the United Nations has proceeded to implement the dreams of its founders, namely, to create a socialist, redistributive one-world government run by self-appointed elitists shielded by the banner of the United Nations.  

Suppose, in today’s world, you wanted to be the supreme ruler of mankind, the Lord of the Earth. What aspects of human society would you need to control?

3. Food
4. Education of Youth
5. The Media
6. Individual Privacy
7. Healthcare
8. Personal Mobility
9. Use of Deadly Force

The UN seeks total control on a global scale over all of these nine items.

The War on Private Property

The first pillar of Communism is the abolition of all private property ownership. The United Nations’ official policy on land ownership reads:

Land…cannot be treated as an ordinary asset, controlled by individuals and subject to the pressures and inefficiencies of the market. Private land ownership is also a principal instrument of accumulation and concentration of wealth and therefore contributes to social injustice; if unchecked, it may become a major obstacle in the planning and implementation of development schemes. The provision of decent dwellings and healthy conditions for the people can only be achieved if land is used in the interests of society as a whole. Public control of land use is therefore indispensable….

A direct attack on private property rights was the first UN initiative after the Earth Summit Conference in Rio in 1992. In September, 1994, the UN attempted to get its Biodiversity Treaty ratified by the US Senate. This treaty proclaimed that human life is of no greater value than animal or plant life and set aside over 50% of the US mainland for human-free zones and buffer zones with limited human activity, leaving only tiny isolated islands of land called “human occupation zones.” Kay Bailey Hutchinson prevented the ratification of this treaty by showing this Wildlands Project map on the Senate floor.

Unfortunately, most of this treaty’s provisions are being enacted behind our backs by presidential executive orders and regulations at the state and local level. Using environmental acts and regulations such as The Endangered Species Act and Clean Air and Clean Water Acts, the federal government already owns over 40% of the land in the US, mostly out west.

This is how it works.  

First, a species is designated as “endangered” and its habitat identified. Then, privately owned land in and around that habitat is confiscated and its use by humans restricted to allow the animals or plants to thrive. Property owners are forced off their land by onerous usage regulations, excessive taxation, arbitrary zoning laws, eminent domain abuse, and outright condemnation.

Control of Energy

On the first Earth Day in 1978, the scientific elite warned us that Global Cooling and a new Ice Age was upon us. When earth’s climate did not cooperate, their new crisis was Global Warming. Initially, their data clearly blamed carbon dioxide emissions from fossil fuels. Later, it was revealed that the results were deliberately falsified to prove the politically correct agenda.  

Energy is essential for commerce and the maintenance of our human lifestyle. All life and energy processes on Earth are based on the carbon molecule. Animals take in oxygen and give off CO2, plants take in CO2 and give off oxygen, and all living organisms use carbon-based molecules in food for energy production. Regulations disregarding that simple fact, such as designating carbon dioxide a poison, are primarily designed to decrease energy available for transportation and industrial growth and ultimately to restrict human activity.

Food

Using every agency at its disposal, the federal government is taking control of the production and consumption of food. Their tool is burdensome regulations that favor large commercial farm conglomerates like Monsanto. Small farm corporations and family farms cannot afford the staff necessary to comply. More often than not, the rules serve no real purpose other than justifying the bureaucrats’ jobs.

The FDA and other agencies make rules for food content, restaurant menus, and home-made school lunches, all to control the type and amount of food available for human consumption.  

Education of Our Youth  

Every dictator from the beginning of time understands that indoctrination of children through government schools is insurance against future rebellion. Like the Hitler Jungen of the 1930s, our youngsters are being taught to parrot the slogans of one world governance and environmental extremism instead of acquiring the education and tools necessary to compete in the future world economy.

During the Cold War, children had a real-life example of Communism’s harsh tyranny and Socialism’s economic failure by observing the Soviet Union’s totalitarian government in action. Today, these important lessons of history are not taught, because they contradict the collectivists’ narrative.    

Privacy

We have seen an unprecedented attack on the Fourth Amendment guarantees of privacy. In the past, government spying on individuals required direct observation and listening. The tools of the digital age allow the government to acquire massive amounts of data about each citizen without their knowledge or consent.

Gun Control

Guns in the hands of individuals present the greatest single threat to tyrants. And they know it. Restriction of the private ownership of guns is an anathema to the proponents of world governance by the United Nations and serves as the basis for multiple attempts by the UN to pass gun control treaties. The ultimate goal of the United Nations is complete worldwide disarmament except for the UN Military.

Disinformation by a Biased Corrupt Media

The First Amendment to the Constitution gives special protections to the press. Our founders understood that dissemination of the unbiased truth was essential for citizens to self-govern. Once again, the digital age has given powerful tools to the collectivists to promote their agenda. Most of the content that appears in the media is controlled by Media Matters, a media giant that coordinates messages to specific groups of recipients. It is common to hear the same list of talking points on different news outlets so that listeners hear the same piece of propaganda from several sources, making it seem truthful.

Smart Growth Human Cities

The United Nations’ plan is herd citizens into tax-subsidized, government controlled, mixed-use developments called “human settlements” where public services, such as health care, drinking water, food, and energy resources will be rationed and freedom of mobility will be heavily restricted.     

The United Nations documents are clear about their intentions to reduce earth’s population to their ideal number – about 500 million humans. That means about six billion of us will just have to go. And that is exactly what will happen. In the smart mega-cities, they envision with high population density, restricted mobility, and rationing of food and healthcare, human inhabitants will be decimated by disease, starvation, and violence.

Welcome to George Orwell’s “1984”. He only missed the date by 34 years. The puppet-masters of earth intend to use the United Nations to establish a one world order to rule and enslave humanity.  

We’ve heard these arguments before, always from the mouths of those who claim to act for the benefit of mankind, out of selfless disregard for their own well-being.  They say, “It’s for your own good,” or “It’s for the good of all.” They are so smart and know so much that they believe we should all be grateful for the opportunity to allow them to control our lives.

Meanwhile, these arrogant elitists expect to be personally exempt from any plan they impose on the rest of us. After all, Socialism is for the masses, not the Socialists.  

We have reached to tipping point for Individual Freedom. Without a free America as the shining example of Liberty, humanity faces centuries of tribulation, another Dark Age.    

On these matters of principle and freedom, compromise is no longer an option.
