Beware! Texas Legislative session is open!

As the saying goes “No man’s life, liberty or property are safe while the legislature is in session”. Texas’ 140 day session has started and will end on May 31st 2021. Several bills, good and bad have been filed and Texas Campaign For Liberty Staff is concentrating on several. There are bills to take away your right to defend yourself with a firearm or to ban certain firearms and accessories. There are bills to raise taxes and fees. There are bills to seize even more power through pandemics. We also have bills filed to end civil asset forfeiture, over militarization of the police and constitutional carry. We will be bringing you updates as the session goes and let you know when it is time to contact your legislators. Until then please learn who your state representative and state senator is and contact their office to let them know that you will be watching them every step of the way.
