The much touted and frankly disappointing Plasmerg Patent has finally been published. The patent which is a total of  four pages long not counting the diagrams spends most of its time rehashing the Papp Patent  (US Patent # 4,428,193)  right down to the stated fuel mixture, high frequency usage, timing, and refueling options..

Dr. John Rohner, who claims to be an astrophysicist from MIT, manages to equate their named  Plasmic cycle to Papp’s cycle in almost every aspect.  The actual claims being made are  so broad and general as to question their validity as patentable material. Comments such as; “Expansion for the fuel mixture listed above is about five times its original volume.” would prove the engine to be completely inefficient and worthless as a prime mover of any merit.

The ECS, while brilliant in its application, is a common and generally available type of control unit discussed and marketed all over the world.  While it is vastly superior to anything yet presented in other patents, it is still only a single and somewhat extravagantly complex system.  Earlier patents  of course make mention of the possibility for state of the art improvements as is common. We can only wait to see how patentable this generic item may be.

Dr. Rohner and Plasmerg  have, for two years,  been claiming to have fully operational single, dual, and multi-cylinder engines. Engines which they state ran for thousands of hours under heavy electrical and mechanical loads. However, beyond Dr. Rohner’s  remarks  they have flatly refused to show any evidence, verification, or certification of these operations. Without the patent being published, they claimed, their project would be severely endangered by some unforeseen threat. After viewing the infringing nature of this application, it should be apparent why it was kept hidden.

Dr. Rohner and Plasmerg  are continuing  to try and use this excuse for covering up their lack of performance. Blog articles published only yesterday (June 3) on the PESN sites and others show this to be true. Although surely aware that the patent was published three weeks ago they continue to falsely denied that this is true.

We can only wonder why  Dr. Rohner feels the need to extend this fraud and why any Plasmerg board would approve of such activity. Will they now show something of value or will we find only new excuses.
