Alfaro Energy Wins Prestigious Eagle Ford Excellence Award

The South Texas Energy Economic Roundtable (STEER) granted Alfaro Energy the 2013 Eagle Ford Excellence Award on Dec. 11. STEER hosted the Eagle Ford Excellence Awards to foster “good corporate citizenship,” in the words of STEER President Omar Garcia.

Alfaro Energy is a Texas-bonded operator drilling for oil and natural gas in the Eagle Ford Shale. This rapidly expanding company was granted a STEER Award for its commitment to employee safety, which has always been the company’s utmost priority. This award recognizes Alfaro Energy’s dedication to providing a safe workspace for its employees, which the company vows to continue to improve as it expands its number of wells in 2014.

Alfaro Energy was also considered for the Community and Social Investment Eagle Ford Excellence Award. Employee safety is a priority for Alfaro Energy along with giving back to the community—the company gives donations and time to charities such as the Boys and Girls Club, Multiple Sclerosis Society, and the Special Olympics.

Alfaro Energy is honored to be granted such a prestigious award and looks to move forward in 2014, maintaining and expanding safety and charity initiatives in South Texas.
