Brian Alfaro will “Go Red” this February

Brian Alfaro, an energy operator based in San Antonio, is sponsoring the Second Annual Go Red for Women 5K on Feb. 8. Alfaro believes strongly in giving back to the community and has participated in a variety of charitable events over the last few years.

A firm believer in the gospel of wealth, Alfaro makes it a point to give back to the community in both time and donations. After a multiple sclerosis diagnosis when he was a teenager, Alfaro vowed to encourage the development of community programs emphasizing healthy lifestyle choices.

Alfaro chose to sponsor the Red Run to raise community awareness about the importance of maintaining cardiovascular health. For decades heart disease has been the number-one killer of women across America, and events such as the Red Run aim to increase heart-health awareness among women.
