Environmental Initiative Expanded by Alfaro Energy

The Eagle Ford Shale formation extends across 14 counties in Southern Texas. This rich shale provides Texans with over 116,000 jobs and pumps much-needed revenue into some of the poorest counties in the state. Conservative estimates predict the Eagle Ford will produce high volumes of oil and natural gas for another 15 to 20 years.

Alfaro Energy has operated in the Eagle Ford Shale for several years and has plans for expansion in 2014. The company has already resolved to decrease the environmental impact of drilling for oil and natural gas, using eco-friendly technology to preserve the landscape of the Eagle Ford.

But Alfaro Energy wants to take their environmental initiative one step further. Hand in hand with the company’s expansion, Alfaro Energy wants to protect the native beauty of the Eagle Ford area for generations to come.
Alfaro Energy is negotiating an environmental initiative that would plant trees at their drilling sites. Drought-resistant, native Texas trees such as cedar elms and red oaks would be cultivated to preserve the landscape of the Eagle Ford. Alfaro Energy wishes to maintain the rustic beauty of the Texas landscape by encouraging the growth of water-efficient flora.

It is the company’s wish that future generations can enjoy the rural wonder of Texas. With this new environmental initiative, Alfaro Energy aims to spread environmentally responsible drilling in the Eagle Ford Shale so our environment remains beautiful for decades to come.
