I never questioned the idea that nuclear plants and waste storage would be run with anything but the greatest engineering, risk control, and care. Even routine releases of radiation from nuclear plants, in normal operation, do indeed cause noticeable health problems, infant deaths, leukemia, other cancers, and generally weaken the individual.

Chris Busby, an expert in the field, just today published information related to studies that prove damage from nuclear plants.

“We carried out some fancy statistical regressions of distance from the contaminated Steart Flats (the historic repository of the releases from Hinkley Point) and infant and perinatal mortality over the period. It is well accepted that infant mortality is caused by deprivation so we included the ward index of deprivation in the regression.

Astonishingly the results showed that it was not deprivation that killed infants in Somerset. It was Hinkley Point. Deprivation was not statistically significant, not in Somerset. When we slowly statistically crept up on the cause of the infant deaths it turned out to partly relate to an accidental release of radioactivity in 1996 for which the plant was fined £20,000 by the regulators.”

He also discusses why the NRC, just this week, cancelled an ongoing study to review cancer statistics near US nuclear plants. The NRC is captured and does not regulate, but promotes.

We know from the EPA data released in 2011 of the density of Uranium in air measured at points all over the Pacific. By taking density and multiplying by volume, we can take a good stab at the DETECTED amount of Uranium, and thus also know all the usual suspects that accompany uranium in fissioned fuel, such as Plutonium, Cesium, Strontium, Iodine, Xenon and more. This is just what was detected, so the total release was of course more.

It’s a guesstimate, because you have to assume a volume, but 195 tons is a good guestimate. That’s a lot, a large percentage of the pools and cores.

If I wanted to present myself in a sincere light, I don’t think I would sign my letter as “Stock out.” You’re already telling me you want to hide your identity. But why?

Both of these statements are untrue:

There is no proof of “routine” releases of radiation from licensed nuclear power plants, otherwise they wouldn’t remain licensed for very long. This is the sort of anti nuclear energy overstatements (fabrications really) generated by anti nuclear advocates like Christopher Busby or Leuren Moret — who made similar deceitful statements about depleted uranium causing leukemia, cancers etc, over a certain Hawaiian island (your locale) a number of years ago which was subsequently shown to be completely untrue and a baseless FABRICATION on her part.

The next big mistake you make is your reference to Christopher Busby as an authoritative source, when in fact he’s a well debunked fraud and con artist. In 2011, it took me just a few minutes searching on Google to find a number of articles that expose his chronic penchant for lying, exaggeration and outright fabrication of anything and everything that serves his self promotion schemes.

The only thing that Busby is an “expert” in is being a B**S*** artist. If you actually took the time to look at his resume, you would discover that he’s a CHEMIST, and not a nuclear “expert” or even a physicist. People who can think and have looked at his fraudulent character carefully, have come to far different conclusions about him than you and have posted their evaluations of him online (below) long before he started to scam Japanese people out of their money using the Fukushima radiation hysteria hoax as his fulcrum.

The “explosive force” could not, and did not, originate from inside the reactor core and it couldn’t possibly occur from within the fuel rod storage pool. That’s ridiculous. This assertion alone tells me you do not understand squat about nuclear energy production facilities and the redundant, fail-safe reactor designs employed within. The “hydrogen gas” explosion was due to the detonation of a mini nuclear device that was likely secreted within the large, tubular “gun” cameras found inside each reactor building, reviewed at length by Jim Stone. The explosions were due to acts of SABOTAGE and were not the results of a non existent “40 foot high” tsunami, or any malfunction of the reactors due to the sea surge, nor due to a non existent “meltdown” of any reactor at the Dai-ichi power plant.

I don’t follow Global Research, so I don’t know how many articles they have posted echoing the Fukushima scare mongering scam, but I do recall that they posted an article by Stephen Jones a year or two ago about Fukushima that said things that were utterly ABSURD such as Jones’ statement that “TONS of plutonium” had been spewed into the atmosphere above Dai-ichi by the explosion of reactor building #3 (not unlike the mega-absurdity of your 195 TON “guesstimate” expressed here). That tells me that the editors at Global Research are anti nuclear energy ideologues and aren’t interested in maintaining a web site where integrity, honesty, and accuracy of fact are valued above all other concerns.
