Saint Louis, MO August 23^rd, 2019: Duo band The Color Tones® continues for over two years in the Americana Top Ten on ReverbNation, currently in the # 4 position. The single entitled Horses Ride is based on a best-selling book written by Wayne Bell and published by Really Big Coloring Books®, Inc. The Color Tone® band members are founder N. Wayne Bell and founding-member Drew St. John. “Horses Ride” comes from The Great American Horse Book – El’ Gran Libro Del Caballo Americano a bi-lingual book written by Bell for the horse industry in 2003. The company states the book is in several formats or sizes and is a high range six-figure selling item since its original 2003 publication.      Creating a band specifically to work on songs based on Bell’s books is how The Color Tones® started. Bell had the idea for the band and company COO Ken Rich instantly came up with The Color Tones® name. Learning about the music industry and meeting hard core music professionals is so darn fun, says Bell. Getting educated in the industry with men like Tony Bongiovi’ and Charles Calello is nothing less that insanely dynamic. They met through a project with Bongiovi’ associate Tim Egeland. “Those men are so talented, have so much to offer and most of all they love to share and teach what they have learned in a life time of creating hit music across the globe” stated Bell. ‘Horses Ride’ is written and performed by Bell and Saint, arrangement by Calello and produced by Bongiovi’ at Power Station Studios.      Bell and his band mate have written and scratch-tracked over a dozen new songs during the last two years while they both worked full time jobs with lots of travel and community commitments. “Early on in the process of founding the band, as with any new project, you may run across a couple of negatives complete with surprises. Normally over time they become inconsequential relegating themselves to history, said Bell.  “Stay focused, stay positive, have fun, enjoy the bright spots while discarding the negative. Stay in the saddle, get comfy, ride on and never let anyone upset your ideas and dreams. Success is a way of life with long term measurement. I have sold millions of books and now I want to sell millions of songs and we have a great start.      Both Color Tones® members were raised in Missouri at different points along the mighty Mississippi River are professional salesmen and entrepreneurs. Bell founded Really Big Coloring Books®, Inc. in 1988, having sold many millions of books in over 90 countries. Saint recently married the love of his life and Bell has been with his partner for over 20 years.
