All Changes in Dragonflight Season 4

About Season

Season 4 of Dragonflight is a continuation of the latest expansion of the original WoW game, and it will be the last one before the release of The War Within. Season 4 of Dragonflight launched on April 23rd for NA realms and April 24th for EU realms. This season has introduced significant global changes to some game mechanics, added new rewards for players, and new events. Despite this, all WoW boost services are operating normally and will continue to help players achieve their goals.

Crests Changes

In Season 4 of Dragonflight, the old Dream Crests will be replaced by new Awakened Crests, which will be used to upgrade seasonal gear and create additional reagents to determine the level of crafted items. Additionally, instead of the old Dream Spark, heroes will be able to obtain the new Spark of Awakening, which will also be useful in crafting. You can earn crests by completing various tasks in the open world, raids, and dungeons of different difficulties. The weekly amount of crests received for each type has increased from 90 to 120 units, allowing for faster upgrading of gear to the maximum level.

Dungeons

The main changes affected dungeons, offering new challenges for enthusiasts of this mechanic. The number of Mythic+ dungeon levels has been reduced to 10. In the new system, a level 2 key has the difficulty of a level 11 key in the old system, level 5 is equivalent to level 15, and level 10 matches level 20. The timers for Mythic+ dungeons remain. The value of rewards for completing Mythic difficulty has also increased along with the increased difficulty. Don’t forget also collect your reward from the Great Vault.

Modifier System

The modifier system was also changed. Now, the first modifier appears at 2+, the second at 5+, and the third at 10+. The affixes remain the same as in Season 3 and rotate each week:

• Keystone Level 2 Affixes: Tyrannical, Fortified;
• Keystone Level 5 Affixes: Entangling, Afflicted, Incorporeal, Volcanic, Storming;
• Keystone Level 10 Affixes: Spiteful, Raging, Bursting, Bolstering, Sanguine.

Raids

Blizzard did not add any new raids but brought back three raids from this expansion: Vault of the Incarnates, Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible, and Amirdrassil, the Dream’s Hope. Not all raids will be available at once. They will rotate each week until the 7th week, after which you can run the ones you prefer. The difficulty of the raids and the quality of the rewards have been increased. Below, you can see a table of raid difficulty and its drops.

New Raid currency

In Season 4, you have the opportunity to obtain a new currency called Antique Bronze Bullions. These ingots can be earned in Awakened raids. The drop chance is not high, but this currency is not exactly rare. The drop also depends on the difficulty of the raid. The number of currency, that you can earn is limited. They have a cap that starts from 1 ingot for the first week and increases by 1 each subsequent week.

How to Use the New Currency

You can spend this currency at Vendors, who offer various items ranging from cosmetic items to equipment and weapons. Purchased items will have the Awakened tag instead of Heroic or Mythic. A big advantage of these items is 12 levels of upgrades, so you can upgrade the item to the maximum level of a Mythic item. Prepare large reserves of crests and flightstones for this.

Vendors

There are 4 vendors in total, each specialize on items from a specific raid or type:

• Iszy – Vault of the Incarnates Vendor;
• Iszinormi – Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible Vendor;
• Iszinormi (Dragon) – Amirdrassil, the Dream’s Hope Vendor;
• Mirioszin – Cosmetics Vendor.

You can find them in a small building called the Parting Glass, coordinates 74, 45 in Valdrakken.

PvP

This mode doesn’t have huge changes. Equipment sets remain from Season 3 but with increased item levels:

• Crafted items are level 502;
• Honor items are level 515;
• Conquest items are level 528.

Rewards

Apart from obtaining new titles, ranks, and teleports, players will be able to acquire a huge number of mounts. In Dungeons, you can obtain the Infinite Armoredon by achieving a Mythic+ rating of 2000. To obtain the raid mount, you must complete all three Awakened raids on Normal difficulty or higher, after which you will receive the Voyaging Wilderling Mount. In PvP, you can earn two mounts. The first is the Draconic Combatant (win rated PvP matches during Dragonflight Season 4 while at 1000 rating or higher), and the second is the Draconic Gladiator’s Drake (End Dragonflight PvP Season 4 in the top 0.1% of the 3v3 arena ladder).
