Solar lantern might not sound a very new concept but the potential change it could bring in the lives of 60 million people would be huge.

LED technology again, might not be a very new concept but it is very resilient and dependable fuel. Its a great alternative to save energy and money. LED technology is a revolutionary idea in the progression of bringing up a bulb that use 75% to 80% less energy. They last longer and are not toxic like CFL’s. Can we possibly imagine the amount of energy a country like India or china can save, by cutting their consumption by 70 % using LED’s.
