Comprising six states of northeastern America, New England plays host to a wide number of sustainability events throughout the year, each one focussed on proposing new and original ways to deal with the most challenging environmental issues facing the world today.

Drones–Unmanned Aircraft Use in the Environmental and Energy Industry

UMass Dartmouth Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Fall River – 9 February 2018

The Environmental Business Council (EBC) will stage this morning panel and in-depth discussion on how we can harness the potential of drones in the field of sustainability. The panel will include EBC members currently using drones for data collection focusing on applications in the environmental and energy sectors across New England. Up for discussion will be regulatory updates, hardware and software improvements, and federal and state governments integrating unmanned aircrafts.

MIT Energy Career Fair

MIT Student Center Lobdell Hall, Cambridge – 1 March 2018

This careers fair offers Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard students with a passion for energy to engage and connect with a wide number companies across a diverse range of industries . Previous years have seen everyone from PhD candidates, MBA students, and undergraduates from all majors come together, with over 20 companies in attendance too.
