With Turkeys NATO endorsed military offensive inside Syria to take Idlib failing as of yet, and Turkey recently appealing for and being denied NATO article 4 military consultation, the threat of a greater war over Syria has by some estimates diminished, however the balance of Mutually Assured Destruction is still under attack inside Syria.

Denying military consultation means nothin when it is quickly followed by a full on record endorsement of this illegal and criminally insane military adventurism by NATO. Turkey is indeed receiving USA and NATO aid and support exceeding any frivolous article 4 so-called protections. The latest narrative of NATO being against this war is complete psyop. If NATO wants to be anti-war simply tell Ankara to retreat inside its own borders or risk losing its Alliance membership.

Like all major wars it must be shown that NATO is dragged into this unwillingly, like the USA was “reluctantly drawn into WW2”. This has all been planned and war-gamed to every detail and the USA and its fascist media conglomerates and sycophantic war planners and profiteers know exactly what they are doing, and do not seem to care in the slightest the human tragedy and suffering another world war will cause.

The treaty includes Article 4, which triggers not military intervention but merely consultation over military matters when “the territorial integrity, political independence or security of any of the parties is threatened.” ) This basically means nothing, would change nothing, as the alliance already provides much more than this as it is!!!!!!

NATOS declination to accept Ankara’s bid for article 4 protection is meaningless and a distraction from the greater danger of Turkey invoking article 5. Peter brings this up briefly in the Crosstalk video above, the reality that Turkey will no doubt next be looking to secure article 5 military protection from its besieged forces inside Syria.

(Article 5. … Article 5 provides that if a NATO Ally is the victim of an armed attack, each and every other member of the Alliance will consider this act of violence as an armed attack against all members and will take the actions it deems necessary to assist the Ally attacked. )

Turkey, if it can argue successfully for NATO article 5 protection, likely after imminently suffering some major loss in the battlefield, can be almost guaranteed this alliance support in my opinion.

What good is NATO if our military protection pact means nothing, Turkey can easily argue, and being the largest contributor to the alliance beyond USA, they will likely receive military support, even just in the form of USA and NATO allied naval missile strikes on Idlib and Syrian army positions.

People following these developments understand the danger this proxy war between NATO and Russia is over Syria, with the Wests refusal to back down, and stop with the deception and support of proxy forces waging this illegal war; The threat of war with Russia comes with the threat of nuclear annihilation on Earth yet the US side seeks only confrontation and not diplomacy.

I have little faith that president Trump will sit down with his Russian counterpart and lay down the framework of a new ABM treaty as well as begin talks to negotiate the end of the proxy war in Syria and Ukraine and to discuss the anti missile and troop buildups elsewhere surrounding Russia.

I wont plead for approachment and dialog between Putin and Trump, but it’s needed to avert war quickly, and honestly it would be funny to watch the news at least for a few minutes of good satire during that time to see the USA democrats and CNN war cheerleaders foaming at the mouth saying how Donald Trump works for Moscow or some such drivel just because he decides to negotiate for the future of humanity rather than for its ultimate destruction.
