Revealed – owners of the building from which the Banksy art was torn off and sold for auction

(not satire – it’s sold-off Britain today)

There’s been a great deal of justified anger over the Banksy piece of art which was torn off the wall of a Poundland shop in Wood Green and put up for auction on a US website for £450,000.

Poundland have said they had nothing to do with it and it was the responsibility of the building’s owners.

Well the owner of the building seems to be a private limited company called WOOD GREEN INVESTMENTS LIMITED of

SOUTHEND ROAD
WOODFORD GREEN
ESSEX
IG8 8HD

There are two directors:

•  LESLIE STEVEN GILBERT - Director
•  ROBERT ALAN DAVIES - Director, Secretary

Unfortunately, I can’t seem to find any email address for them.

Pity really. It would have been nice to let them know just what I think of them.
