Oops! Guardian accidentally gets a headline wrong about the Lib Dems. Again.

(not satire – it’s the Guardian!)

There’s a nice puff piece today in the Guardian about one of their beloved Lib Dem MPs Sarah Teather:

The only problem is that Sarah didn’t quit. She was sacked as a junior education minister. And she’s still a sitting MP drawing an MP’s salary and claiming MP’s expenses.

Which makes that headline one of those – oh what is that technical word newspaper journalists like to use for this kind of thing?

Oh yes, that’s right, I remember now.

A lie.

This is not the first time the Guardian has had problems with one of their headlines about the Lib Dems. Not long ago they got a bit mixed up between the words ‘support’ and ‘oppose’:
