Lib Dem guilty of racial assault – but party still doesn’t throw him out

(not satire – it’s the Lib Dems!)

Stephen Fenwick – a Liberal Democrat councillor in Sutton - has been found guilty of racially aggravated assault.

But despite the Lib Dems knowing that Fenwick had been due in court on racial assault charges since January – he only voluntarily resigned from the party yesterday:

And as if being a racist wasn’t bad enough – Fenwick’s also crooked, devious, conniving, and unscrupulous too.

He courted controversy last year when he suddenly changed his decision to vote against the council’s decision to grant planning permission to the controversial Beddington Lane incinerator (6th paragraph down):

But the councillor forgot to mention to anyone that he had been given a job at the Department of Energy and Climate Change – which of course had nothing at all to do with his sudden change of heart:

Let’s hope in May the voters of Sutton let the Lib Dems know exactly what they think of this devious, conniving, unscrupulous racist.
