A 2015 scientific publication proves that scientists from the US and China collaborated to create a coronavirus that will infect humans

In 2015, American researchers and researchers from the Chinese Institute of Virology in Wuhan collaborated to transform the animal coronavirus into one that can attack humans. Scientists from prestigious American universities and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) worked directly with two scientific collaborators from the Institute of Virology in Wuhan, Xing-Yi Ge and Zhengli-Li Shi. Funding was provided by the Chinese and US governments. The team was able to modify the bat coronavirus so that it could infect humans.

The papers were published in December 2015 in the prestigious British journal Nature Medicine (volume 21, pages 1508–1513). Publication by Vineet D. Footnotes also prove that both Chinese researchers were actively working in their own laboratories and this was part of the work on this coronavirus project.

At the bottom of the first page, as the affiliation of both Chinese co-authors, is listed “The Main Laboratory of Special Pathogens and Biological Safety, Institute of Virology in Wuhan, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Wuhan, China.” The Chinese have supported research into potential military weapons capable of triggering a pandemic either intentionally or accidentally by the American government, American universities and American researchers.

Many American researchers and institutions were involved. One of them belongs to the FDA Scientific Toxicology Research Center in Jefferson, Arkansas. The first author of the article, Vineet Menachery, works at the Department of Epidemiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. A few of the other authors are employees of the University of North Carolina, and one – Harvard Medical School. There is also one researcher from Switzerland.

The researchers themselves noted in the article text that the risk associated with creating a human pathogen is significant. They openly wondered if their research was in violation of US federal standards on dangerous pathogens.

The potential danger of creating a new pathogen for human coronavirus in American-Chinese research is discussed in the article by Jef Akst in The Scientist of November 16, 2015. However, the danger of cooperation with the Chinese was not mentioned.

Questions that arise:

In 2015, American researchers, in collaboration with Chinese researchers from the now infamous Wuhan Institute, jointly published a paper on how they successfully modified a bat coronavirus to infect humans. Their project was funded by the US and Chinese governments.

– Who started the research in the USA? Why was it not allowed if it allowed the Chinese to create biological weapons with potential military use or to accidentally trigger an epidemic?
– Why was the FDA employee officially involved as the author, and why did NIH finance this project?
– The virus created in cooperation with the Chinese and the virus that caused the current epidemic are SARS-CoV viruses with many common features. – The author did not find scientific studies comparing these two viruses specifically, it is a topic that should be further explored.
– How many more created in laboratories or artificially modified viruses are in global laboratories and under the control of governments and the military?
– Are potentially dangerous research projects in cooperation with the United States and China still ongoing – financed or not by both countries?
– Why and how has this research project completely escaped attention in the face of growing concerns about China’s role in triggering the current latest coronavirus pandemic?
– Why did none of the American researchers reveal and pay widespread attention to this project, enabling and supporting Chinese attempts to create biological weapons using viruses?

Scientists from the US and China collaborated to create a coronavirus A cluster of existing bat coronavirus resembling SARS has the potential for human exposure

“The emergence of coronavirus-induced acute respiratory distress syndrome (SARS-CoV) and Middle Eastern respiratory distress syndrome (MERS) -CoV highlights the danger of interspecific transmission events leading to human disease. Here, we examined the disease potential of the SARS-like virus SHC014-CoV, which currently exists among the Chinese horseshoe population. Using the SARS-CoV reverse genetics system, we generated and characterized a chimeric spike protein (S) reflecting the bat protein coronavirus SHC014 in a mouse-adapted SARS-CoV backbone. The results indicate that Group 2b viruses encoded with the spike protein (S) SHC014 in the wild type virus backbone can effectively utilize various orthologs of the human converting enzyme receptor II (ACE2) angiotensin.

In addition, in vivo experiments show replication of the chimeric virus in the lungs of mice with significant pathogenesis. Evaluation of possible immunotherapeutic and prophylaxis methods in connection with SARS showed low effectiveness; neither monoclonal antibodies nor vaccines neutralized or protected against CoVs infection using the new S-spike protein. Donald Trump cancels funding for US / China research on epidemic viruses

Of all the technologies we’ve given China, ways to produce highly contagious and deadly viruses may be the most dangerous. The press revealed yesterday that President Trump is canceling all funding for US-China cooperation to create deadly epidemic viruses (see here and here ).

On April 15, 2020, we posted a blog post about this collaboration between the US and China, describing how “In 2015, scientists from the US and the Chinese Institute of Virology in Wuhan collaborated to transform the animal coronavirus to be able to attack humans.” Then we immediately published a video showing how the US and China joined forces to create the SARS-CoV virus from bats with clinical effects identical to those that the SARS-CoV-2 bat virus caused during the current pandemic. Both materials are available at our Coronavirus Research Center . We have notified the authorities, the media and the public about these shocking security breaches. Stopping this research was most important to us, and as we have recently learned, forother groups also.

Anthony Fauci, director of the Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases [NIAID], is the most important official responsible for enabling and financing these monstrous studies. In 2015, independent researchers expressed concern over federal-funded research into the creation of powerful viruses in the laboratory, which violated government regulations prohibiting laboratory-enhancing virulence [Gain-of-Function]. The Fauci Institute – NIAID – reviewed the US and China joint research and allowed it to be conducted – until Donald Trump discontinued it.

Researchers explained their actions as leading to better methods of combating epidemic viruses. Such a self-defense motive could be the real goal of naive US scientists, but researchers at the Wuhan Institute are part of China’s military infrastructure and it is absurd to think that the Chinese were not interested in developing biological weapons.

We are not absolutely sure if the pandemic virus has leaked from the Wuhan Institute, but it seems likely. We also don’t know – the reports are contradictory – whether it was artificially created by improving the bat virus. However, as we anticipated, we now know that the same Chinese scientists from Wuhan, with whom the US shared their research efforts, are continuing their own research into the creation of dangerous viruses from bats. This 2016 and 2017 study can also be found at our Coronavirus Research Center. The Chinese efforts to create an epidemic virus make the accidental release of SARS-CoV-2 highly probable and increase the fear that the virus was created by man.

We are grateful to President Trump for quickly noticing the madness and danger inherent in supporting Chinese scientists in the development of dangerous bat viruses, which research began under the previous rule.
