There are thought to be over 6 million surveillance cameras across the UK – around 1 camera for every 10 citizens. This puts the UK second only to China in the global ranks for surveillance cameras.

I still can’t understand why all those cameras are installed on the streets. Do you think the government is really following us? You know, I like all the opportunities for cameras but not for such purposes. I personally have an Ajax home security system. I have been using that for a while and still believe it is a very reasonable acquisition. I got into several situations when it prevented crime. And I appreciate an opportunity to control my house just through a phone screen. Of course, now it is not as actual as it was before the pandemic, But I hope we will get back to our normal lives full of trips and adventures soon.
