Product Review: Gray-Nicolls Powerbow Inferno Thunder Batting Gloves

I bought these gloves for my Cricket Collection in the Summer House, not to use, so up front – they are too small for me!

I bought them to provide an example of how gloves had changed since my day, so being entry level gloves they were the closest comparison to something that I would have used. I wanted to show how colour had become part of the game, and how much better the quality and protection had become.

My Review

These gloves are great to look at, the colour scheme is very attractive, and although entry level they carry a great feel of quality about them. The leather is soft and supple and I like the mesh.

Protection feels very adequate and certainly far better than I had at a comparable age. No ‘extras’ in terms of insert finger, thumb, wrist etc but for the money I would say they are very good gloves.
