The picture nicely illustrates the point that they have clearly (and probably deliberately) missed:
Those buildings are clearly well above sea level and entirely unaffected by infinitesimal sea level changes. The problem is that the cliffs are made of mud or sand and are prone to erosion. If they were solid granite cliffs, there wouldn’t be a problem. But they aren’t, there is, and there always has been:
