The NHS rewards incompetence and rejoices in greed!
It’s my view that the NHS is institutionally incompetent beyond repair and if any other private sector organisation was run as badly, all involved would be sacked. But because it’s ”our” NHS they get promoted!

I had to use Gloucester hospital a few years back and could not believe the state of the place. The food was disgusting. I wouldn’t give it to my dog and that is not an exageration. Most of it was unedible. Some nurses (foreign) should not be anywhere near patients. There were also some good ones. I’d heard the stories but I was still taken aback. Like something out of victorian times. One of the guys next to me in the ward had gone in for some throat cancer thing and they’d burnt through to his lungs (accidentally) and could no longer eat so had a tube straight into his stomach, for the rest of his life which was going to be pretty short. Shocked I was!
