Dying in Sleep: Young People Are Still Dying Suddenly in Their Sleep

Aug. 12, 2023 – Olympic swimmer Helen Smart, age 43 (working as teacher in Wigan, UK) died suddenly in her sleep on Aug. 12, 2023.

She was found dead by her 4 yo daughter: “Daddy, I can’t wake mummy up”.

She had gone paddle boarding the night before her death (hours before).

Working as a teacher and principal in the UK, she would have been mandated COVID-19 vaccines.

Aug. 11, 2023 – Plano, TX – 40 year old David Herring, teacher and band director at Shepton High School died in his sleep on Aug. 11.

Aug. 10, 2023 – Darlington, UK – 41 yo Mike Clinton (driving instructor), died in his sleep, 3 months after his 50 yo wife died suddenly, leaving two boys ages 12 and 14, orphans. (Click here)

Aug. 7, 2023 – Osnago, Italy – 29 year old waiter and B&B worker Christian Marchi died in his sleep on Aug. 7 in a room of the B&B he worked in.

Aug. 6, 2023 – New Hampton, IA – 25 year old Clarissa Sue Lechtenberg, an early childhood teacher, died in her sleep on Aug. 6.

July 29/30, 2023 – Belfast, Ireland – Doctor & leading cardiothoracic surgeon (retired) Dr. Simon MacGowan died in his sleep on July 29/30, 2023. “He had ridden a six-day tour of the Alps, from Geneva to Nice when he died in his sleep in Nice on completion of the trip.

July 29, 2023 – Solon, OH – 43 year old Michael Gregorich, teacher at Stratton College, died in his sleep.

July 26, 2023 – Nashville, TN – 35 year old musician (metal bassist) James Harvey IV, died suddenly in his sleep on July 26. “Otherwise healthy 35 year old” (click here).

July 25, 2023 – Syracuse, NY – 18 year old basketball player Dy’Jierre Jackson died suddenly in his sleep July 25, 2023. “He stopped breathing & there was no brain activity.” “He passed away in his sleep. There was no struggle.” They’re blaming “kidney infection.”

July 23, 2023 – Pavia, Italy – 56 year old Romina Baldaccini died suddenly in her sleep after returning from swimming pool and feeling “unwell”. A few days before her death, she talked about wanting a vacation.

July 22, 2023 – Toronto, ON – 31 year old squash champion Arjun Gupta, who represented Canada on the international stage died suddenly in his sleep on July 22, 2023.

July 21, 2023 -Warroad, Minnesota – 38 year old HOCKEY COACH Michael Gary Tveit died suddenly in his sleep on July 21, 2023. He was “taking a nap from a migraine”. He coached Warroad High School senior boys’ hockey team.

July 10, 2023 – 20 year old New Mexico State University soccer player Thalia Chaverria died suddenly in her sleep on July 10, 2023 just 8 days after 20th birthday. Police found her dead at 7am at her residence.

July 16, 2023 – Philadelphia, PA – 6 year old Dominic Kyrie Lyons died suddenly in his sleep on July 16, 2023.

June 29, 2023 – Melbourne, Australia – 29 year old Harry Baker, a Victoria police officer, died suddenly in his sleep in the early morning hours of June 29, 2023. Girlfriend is “scrambling for answers with Harry’s cause of death still unknown…healthy young man.”

June 26, 2023 – 42 year old popular Mexican TV doctor and self-proclaimed “vaccination expert” Dr. Alfredo Victoria, died suddenly in his sleep.

June 24, 2023 – Brazil – 46 year old police officer Abby Silva Moreira died suddenly on June 24, 2023 “She got up at night to drink water, went back to sleep and never woke up.”

June 24, 2023 – UK – 29 year old Tom Longley died in his sleep on June 24, 2023. He was found dead in his bed by his dad. He had gone to the pub the night before for a brief time. Didn’t complain of being unwell. No underlying health conditions.

June 23, 2023 – Marcianise, Italy – 39 year old Giuseppe Amato died suddenly in his sleep while on vacation in Maratea, Italy.

June 22, 2023 – Provo, UT – 27 year old Keyon Snow, a nursing student at Joyce University, died suddenly in his sleep.

June 17, 2023 – Southampton, UK – 13 year old Sydney Daarol died suddenly in her sleep from cardiac arrest on June 17 2023. “She was perfectly healthy and had come home from a fun day of bowling with friends.”

June 10, 2023 – Knoxville, TN – 18 yo Caileigh O’Donohue Duggan, a nursing student at University of Tennessee nursing program died suddenly on June 10, 2023. She died in her sleep, due to an “undiagnosed heart condition” – very likely COVID-19 vaccine myocarditis.

June 9, 2023 – Mirfield, UK – 30 year old Fiona Peel died suddenly while staying with a friend in London “she was suddenly found dead, leaving behind 6 year old daughter.”

May 26, 2023 – Greensboro, NC – 49 year old Jill Smart died suddenly in her sleep. She was pursuing a PhD at University of Indiana and taught anatomy & physiology.

May 24, 2023 – UK – 23 year old University of Manchester structural engineering student Hari Krishnan, died in his sleep on May 24, 2023. He was found dead in his bedroom by his friends who came searching for him in the morning.

May 22, 2023 – New York, NY – 35 year old photographer & model Vincent Vega died suddenly in his sleep on May 22, 2023.

May 20, 2023 – Iowa City, IA – 34 year old High School teacher Amylia Yeaman died suddenly in her sleep on May 20/21, 2023. She was fully COVID-19 vaccinated.

May 13, 2023 – Markham, ON – 21 year old Jonathan Scarth died unexpectedly & suddenly in his sleep on May 13, 2023.

May 9, 2023 – Columbus, OH – 24 year old Annie Nelson was found unresponsive in her apartment by her boyfriend. She died suddenly on May 9, 2023.

May 6, 2023 – New York, NY – 29 year old Robert Little died in his sleep on May 6, 2023. Robert was a fire performer and graduated from Florida College of Natural Health. He had just bought a house with his fiancee.

My Take…

I cannot begin to explain how many people are dying in their sleep right now.

In this article I examine 30 deaths while asleep. While this analysis is not “scientific”, some interesting numbers and patterns emerge:

• Men 20 : Women 10
• ages: <10 (1), 10-19 (3), 20-29 (10), 30-39 (7), 40-49 (7), 50-59 (1), 60-69 (1)
• the deadliest age range for dying in sleep suddenly is 20-29 (10 deaths out of 30)
• 7 Teachers
• 4 Athletes (competitive)
• 4 University/College students (2 nursing)
• 2 doctors
• 2 police officers
• 2 hotel workers

Limitations of analysis: Sample size is still quite small. I did not include kids under age 5 (most are not COVID-19 vaccinated and childhood vaccinations and SIDS complicate the picture), ages 50+ are less likely to garner attention online and are thus under-reported, everyone’s job or profession wasn’t known.

CONCLUSION: This is the first ever attempt to analyze sudden deaths in sleep, which are happening frequently, since COVID-19 vaccines rolled out. 

Analysis shows: men to women 2:1, deadliest age range is 20-29, deadliest profession is “teacher”, where job status was known – it was almost always an aggressively COVID-19 vaccine mandated profession.
